Side Effects
The side effects fall basically into two categories:
1. Those which can occur with any injection eg. vaccinations, and ,
2. Those peculiar to Dermal fillers:
1.
- Redness at the site
- Swelling at the site (lips swell more and for longer because they have more blood vessels)
- Flare up of previous acne or cold sores (again, this happens almost exclusively around the lips)
- Bruising at the site
2.
- Rarely, lumpiness at the site
- Extremely uncommon, small ulcer in the area injected (again, almost exclusively on the lips).
Here at the QPC we use techniques and products to minimise any side effects, and to make the
experience as pain free as we possibly can.
